# GoEast

> GoEast is a family-run, Ferðamálastofa-licensed operator offering private guided day tours across East Iceland from Egilsstaðir and Seyðisfjörður. All tours are day tours under 24 hours.

Tours cover Stuðlagil canyon, Kárahnjúkar, Vök Baths, Hengifoss and Gufufoss waterfalls, Mjóifjörður, Borgarfjörður eystri puffin colonies, Sænautasel highland farm and Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Prices are per private group and paid on site.

## Practical details

- Format: private day tours only, always under 24 hours. No multi-day trips.
- Group size: private per-group vehicle; the price is per tour, not per person.
- Pricing: two tiers - 1-7 passengers (taxi-service price, no tax) and 8-20 passengers (final price including 11% tax).
- Payment: on site at the start of the tour, cash or card. No prepayment.
- Pickup: hotels, guesthouses, harbours and the cruise pier in Seyðisfjörður and Egilsstaðir; other East Iceland locations on request.
- Season: tours run year-round; puffin tours run roughly May-August.
